FLX Kitchen & Bath evolved from Builders Best Design Center.

FLX Kitchen and Bath has served the Ithaca and surrounding Finger Lakes region since 1994, starting as Builder’s Best Design Center. Located originally on N. Triphammer Rd in Ithaca, Builder’s Best opened their showroom doors as a place for building professionals and homeowners alike to collaborate, design and implement projects, from new builds to additions, as well as kitchens and baths. Builder’s Best has proudly worked within the Finger Lakes region for over 30 years as a leader in the kitchen, bath, and building materials industry, building many strong relationships with our contractors and homeowners.

With the opportunity to purchase our new location at 363 Elmira Rd., we decided also to acquire the new name of FLX Kitchen and Bath. With our new location and name, we are looking forward to “Opening the Possibilities” with all of our existing clients and creating new ones with those we haven’t met yet. On the last occasion, I was overseas and asked Phylis to help me with the installation of a new shower in my bathroom because I had just had knee-replacement surgery and felt that I would not be able to get in and out easily from the tub I then had. As always, she delivered superb advice and materials, with elegant taste.

Phylis and I are finishing up a nice kitchen and bath order with my client in Spring Port and what a pleasure it has been working with her. He knowledge, thoughtfulness, understanding, patience and skills are unmatched to any design professional I have dealt with in the past. I am looking forward to much more work with her.
